What is HBLO?

The Houston Battalion Legacy Outreach (Est. August 23rd, 2025) is a student & cadet-driven organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Battalion’s History and reconnecting & maintaining alumni connections to the Houston Battalion. For the benefit of the future leaders of America’s Army, and to spread the Houston Battalion’s excellence in the United States Army Officer Corps.

HBLO is dedicated to promoting and preserving the history of the Houston Battalion. Ensuring that both the Houston Battalion, the universities, and the community know the history of this great Battalion.

Creating and sustaining excellence

HBLO supports the Houston Battalion through donations, equipment & experience. Works of connecting the alumni base and support from that base to the Houston Battalion are integral to creating and sustaining excellence.
